Code Lyoko is a t.v. show originally made in France that waslater translated to English. It is about four boarding school students (in the picture), who go to a virtual world through teleporters to fight virtual enemies. The antagonist is a computer program named X.A.N.A. who activates towers in the virtual world to cause disasters in the real world. This is why three of the four have to go in and fight. The fourth one has to stay behind and monitor everything via computer in case the others need help or to be updated on real world situations.
Starting from the left, their names are Ulrich, Jeremy, Odd, Yumi, and Aelita.
Ulrich- Ulrich is a more quiet and mysterious kid. The series hints at him and Yumi having a liking for eachother, but the series was cut short, so we won't know until it is brought back in 2012.
Jeremy- Jeremy is the brains of the group. He is the one who originally found thefactory where all the teleporters and Supercomputer was. He is also the one who activated it, and is the one who puts in all the codes to be able to help the others fight X.A.N.A. It is also hinted that he likes Aelita.
Odd- Odd is the class clown of the group, is always sarcastic, and is Ulrich's best friend. Odd doesn't have the best grades, and is usually the biggest pain to the teacher's. Odd is always goofing off, but if the situation is serious or his friends are in danger, he becomes serious and a force to be reckoned with.
Yumi- Yumi is a goth girl who is almost as quiet as Ulrich. She ifeasily offended, and the series hints her liking Ulrich. She is Aelita's best friend, as when Aelita first came to the real world, Yumi is the one who housed her.
Aelita- Aelita is a girl that was trapped in the virtual world until Jeremy found the Supercomputer and turned it on. Through the first season, besides fighting X.A.N.A, Jeremy spends his time trying to find a way to bring her into the real world.
Throughout the series, the members of the team that go into Lyoko have to fight X.A.N.A's monsters. It starts off only showing a few enemies, but as the series progresses, X.A.N.A. creates new monsters. Some are mere nuisances that travel in packs, while others are a major threat. From the top left going right, there is the Kankrelat, Tarantula, Blok, Hornets, Krab, Creepers, Manta, and the Megatank.
Kankrelats, Bloks, and Hornets are basically nuisances, always travelling in packs. Though they are small, they can still hurt the Lyoko Warriors.
Tarantulas, Krabs, Creepers, Mantas, and Megatanks are the bigger and more threatening creatures. While they cause more trouble for the team, they are still easily defeated.
All enemies can be destroyed by hitting the Eye of X.A.N.A, the symbol on their heads and/or bodies.
Each character is represented on Jeremy's computer with health points. Once the health points are gone, the character is devirtualized and brought back to the real world.
After the gang defeats all the enemies, they find the tower that X.A.N.A. has used to throw the world into chaos, and send Aelita in to deactivate it. Once they deactivate the tower, Jeremy uses the computer to reverse time to the point where none of this has happened, and no one remembers anything except the Lyoko Warriors.
